The Train Complainer

Hundreds of footy fans were delayed an hour to last night' qualifying final at the MCG after a V/Line train broke down at Lara.

The brakes got stuck on the 4.55pm Melbourne-bound train packed with more than 500 people at Lara station about 5.30pm, and all its passengers had to move off the train and squeeze onto later services.

The brake failure also held up two other trains travelling behind it, as they picked up the stranded passengers at Lara.
